The Kelliher School District is a Minnesota Celebration School located in Beltrami County in northern Minnesota adjacent to Upper Red Lake.  Kelliher School is a pre-K-12 public school serving a diverse population of approximately 350 students.

Kelliher Public School is proud to be the recipient of great support from the surrounding communities it serves.  Administration, staff and parents work together to create a positive culture that supports growth and learning.  Kelliher School is a member of the statewide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) cohort – a framework of philosophical approaches to removing social, emotional, and behavioral barriers to learning.  As a result, Kelliher School has been successful in closing the learning gap at all grade levels.

As the social and economic hub of this rural area, Kelliher School serves as a vital resource to students, families, and the community. The school supports a healthy community education program, provides the integration of new technology making it an excellent place to learn. The school facility was built in 1997 and provides many state of the art amenities.  The district continues to own and maintain the former school facility, referred to locally as the “Old School Center”.   Housing the Kelliher Health Service and Clinic, Choice Therapy, and Kelliher Kids Child Care, and Early Childhood programs.
